
Shipping & Returns
Shipping Policy
All of our orders are shipped using a courier service on either a 48hr or 72hr delivery service dependant upon courier availability. Our courier may attempt to contact you via text or email prior to attempting delivery. If you are not available when our courier attempts delivery then they may leave a card or ask you to call them to arrange re-delivery. Most courier services will attempt to deliver an item 2-3 times before returning the item to the sender. If an item is returned to us we reserve the right to charge either a re-delivery fee to cover our costs or a re-stocking fee not exceeding 30% of the total order value.
Please note: you may be required to sign for delivery of your item and in some cases this will need to be an adult over 18 years of age.
Occasionally unexpected delays to your expected delivery time may occur due to unexpected circumstances such as bad weather, peak periods etc.
Please note: once your order has left us into the care of the courier company any unexpected delays are entirely out of our hands and any delivery queries should be directed to the courier company with whom your purchase has been shipped.
Return & Exchange Policy
All customers have the right to cancel their order under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation & Additional Charges) Regulations. Cancellations of orders are accepted within 48hrs of the date/time of placing your order. Cancellation requests out with this timescale will not be accepted as we will have begun working on your order.
All wooden items are handmade bespoke items which are handmade to order. As such we are unable to accept returns or exchanges on our handmade items, unless it is damaged on delivery or has become defective through use within 28 days of your order date.
You must send the goods back to us to our contact address at your own cost (unless we delivered the item to you in error or the item was damaged on delivery or has become defective) as soon as possible once you have requested a return of the order and always within 28 calendar days of the date of placing your order. Any warranty claims arising out with 28 calendar days of our receipt of your order will not be honoured as they will be deemed to be fair "wear & tear".
You are under the duty to retain the goods and take reasonable care of them. Return postage costs must be reasonable (not more than the initial price we paid to send the items to you) and will be returned to you upon processing of any refund due. Where you pay more than we deem reasonable to return the goods to us the excess will not be refunded as part of any refund due. We will not arrange for any goods to be collected from you and recommend that you use a broker such as Interparcel: https://uk.interparcel.com to return any goods to us, paying particular attention to dimensions and weights. Any excess weight or dimension charges will not be refunded as part of any refund due.
We reserve the right to make a charge not exceeding our direct costs & in-direct costs of recovering the goods if you do not return the goods or return them at our expense.
Once you have notified us that you wish to cancel the order, any sum debited to us will be refunded to you as soon as possible and in any event within 14 days of your cancellation.
All customers are encouraged to ensure that you make yourself aware of the information contained within the FAQ section of our website prior to placing an order. Paying particular attention to any information regarding correct care of your wooden furniture.
Warranty claims where it is found that the product has been subjected to heat sources or incorrect care will not be honoured.
