Our Charred Wood Finish

Our fired wood finish tables and desks are finished using the Japanese art of Charred Wood, which involves subjecting each piece of timber to fire to create a finish that cannot be replicated in any other manner.

This process brings out the grain in the timber and truly makes for a wonderfully unique finish.

Once the process of Charred Wood is completed each piece of timber is treated with 2 coats of Natural Danish Oil which seals and protects the wood whilst adding a water resistant coating
